Its 41 mm stainless steel case features a polished top ring that shimmers like the radiant city skyline, while the embossed dial reflects the architectural refinement of Park Row’s façades. At 3 o’clock, a precise day window enhances functionality, symbolizing mastery over time and ambition.

Powering the Gotham is the Swiss automatic Sellita SW200‑1 caliber, celebrated for its reliability and performance. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with 26 jewels, this movement offers a smooth seconds sweep, magnetic resistance, and a robust 38-hour power reserve. Known for its accuracy and durability, the Sellita SW200‑1 is a go-to choice among luxury watchmakers—offering COSC-ready precision in a beautifully finished package.

The Gotham’s hexagonal push/pull crown asserts a statement of strength and identity, while the exhibition case back provides a window into the meticulous craftsmanship of the movement. The stainless-steel satin bracelet, secured with a deployment buckle, delivers both resilience and polished style—perfect for transitioning from boardroom to evening gala.

Protected by anti-reflective sapphire crystal and water-resistant up to 100 meters, the Gotham is built to endure—and impress—throughout every endeavor. It speaks to those who appreciate the rhythm of the city, the demands of success, and the grace of timeless design.

Wearing the Gevril Gotham isn't just about telling time; it's about declaring presence—where ambition meets elegance in every heartbeat of the movement.

The history of Gevril watches is a story that combines an illustrious watchmaking past with an innovative modern revitalization. The company origins date back to the mid-18th century and Jacques Gevril, the gifted Swiss watchmaker who is the founder and inspiration of the eponymous brand.

Today the Gevril name endures thanks to the vision of a Swiss horologist and businessman who lifted the brand to its current heights as an established Swiss watch company.

Jacques Gevril was an up-and-coming watch and clockmaker in 1758 when he accompanied his colleague Pierre Jaquet-Droz on a trip to Madrid. There, the men presented a selection of complex musical automata to King Ferdinand VI. The king was so impressed he bought every piece.

Jaquet-Droz returned home the following year but Gevril remained in Spain to fortify his reputation as a master watchmaker and was appointed Royal Watchmaker by the king. Gevril lived in Spain for many years thereafter, refining his craft and producing watches for the Crown.

Gevril’s traditions were survived by future generations of Gevril watchmakers including Moyse Gevril and Daniel Gevril, who built their reputations on horological innovations and artistic enameling techniques.

Today Gevril pocket watches are highly collectible: one is even located in the Muséum Genève and another is part of the collection of the Wilsdorf family, founders of Rolex.
