Gevril Madison Open Heart

Just like a finely tailored suit or the smoothest of scotches, the Gevril Madison Collection stands as a testament to the unswerving allure of straightforward sophistication. Echoing the very spirit of Madison Avenue, this collection asserts the dominance of luxury through its bold 39mm round Stainless Steel Case, adorned with an Exhibition Back that beckons intrigue.

Uncompromising in style and presence, the Madison man is a force to be reckoned with – audacious, resolute, and undeniably masculine. Whether wrapped in the embrace of Italian leather or encased in the strength of a Stainless-Steel bracelet secured by an assertive deployment buckle, this collection exudes an aura that demands attention.

A true manifestation of precision, the Madison Collection proudly unveils an exclusive open-heart window, an insight into the intricate mechanics of Swiss Automatic movements. Beneath the anti-reflective Sapphire crystal, time is elevated beyond the mundane, becoming a dynamic interplay of power and sophistication. Crafted with a steadfast resolve, this timepiece stands tall, unruffled by the unexpected, fortified with water resistance up to 50 meters.

For the modern-day man of impact, the Madison Collection isn't just a watch; it's a statement of authority that resonates with every heartbeat. In a world where subtlety speaks volumes, this collection roars with masculinity, an emblem of unwavering confidence that doesn't merely mark the passage of time; it leaves an indelible mark on history.

The history of Gevril watches is a story that combines an illustrious watchmaking past with an innovative modern revitalization. The company origins date back to the mid-18th century and Jacques Gevril, the gifted Swiss watchmaker who is the founder and inspiration of the eponymous brand.

Today the Gevril name endures thanks to the vision of a Swiss horologist and businessman who lifted the brand to its current heights as an established Swiss watch company.

Jacques Gevril was an up-and-coming watch and clockmaker in 1758 when he accompanied his colleague Pierre Jaquet-Droz on a trip to Madrid. There, the men presented a selection of complex musical automata to King Ferdinand VI. The king was so impressed he bought every piece.

Jaquet-Droz returned home the following year but Gevril remained in Spain to fortify his reputation as a master watchmaker and was appointed Royal Watchmaker by the king. Gevril lived in Spain for many years thereafter, refining his craft and producing watches for the Crown.

Gevril’s traditions were survived by future generations of Gevril watchmakers including Moyse Gevril and Daniel Gevril, who built their reputations on horological innovations and artistic enameling techniques.

Today Gevril pocket watches are highly collectible: one is even located in the Muséum Genève and another is part of the collection of the Wilsdorf family, founders of Rolex.
