GV2 Cortina Diamond
GV2 Cortina Diamond
In the heart of the Italian Alps, where snow-draped peaks meet couture fashion and ski chalets glow with effortless elegance, the GV2 Cortina was born. Inspired by the legendary Cortina d’Ampezzo—Italy’s crown jewel of winter luxury—this exquisite timepiece captures the duality of alpine strength and feminine grace, echoing a place where sport and style coexist in perfect harmony.
Housed in a radiant 30mm 316L stainless steel case, the Cortina stuns with a diamond-cut bezel that shimmers like freshly fallen snow under moonlight. The mother-of-pearl dial, adorned with 12 hand-set diamonds and delicate indices, evokes the serene beauty of Cortina’s icy vistas—polished, pristine, and full of possibility. A push/pull crown adds a warm, elegant accent, reminiscent of the soft blush of winter sunrise over the Dolomites.
Powered by a precise Swiss Ronda 763 movement, the Cortina is a study in reliability and refinement. Its stainless-steel bracelet wraps the wrist with enduring comfort and sophistication, secured by a seamless deployment buckle that moves effortlessly from daytime slope-side chic to candlelit après-ski elegance. Protected by anti-reflective sapphire crystal and water-resistant up to 30 meters, it’s as resilient as it is refined.
The GV2 Cortina is more than a timepiece—it’s an invitation to embrace the poise and confidence of a woman who conquers every summit with grace. A celebration of high-altitude luxury and feminine strength, it captures the spirit of Cortina d’Ampezzo: majestic, modern, and always impeccably styled.

The history of Gevril watches is a story that combines an illustrious watchmaking past with an innovative modern revitalization. The company origins date back to the mid-18th century and Jacques Gevril, the gifted Swiss watchmaker who is the founder and inspiration of the eponymous brand.
Today the Gevril name endures thanks to the vision of a Swiss horologist and businessman who lifted the brand to its current heights as an established Swiss watch company.

Jacques Gevril was an up-and-coming watch and clockmaker in 1758 when he accompanied his colleague Pierre Jaquet-Droz on a trip to Madrid. There, the men presented a selection of complex musical automata to King Ferdinand VI. The king was so impressed he bought every piece.
Jaquet-Droz returned home the following year but Gevril remained in Spain to fortify his reputation as a master watchmaker and was appointed Royal Watchmaker by the king. Gevril lived in Spain for many years thereafter, refining his craft and producing watches for the Crown.

Gevril’s traditions were survived by future generations of Gevril watchmakers including Moyse Gevril and Daniel Gevril, who built their reputations on horological innovations and artistic enameling techniques.
Today Gevril pocket watches are highly collectible: one is even located in the Muséum Genève and another is part of the collection of the Wilsdorf family, founders of Rolex.
