Inspired by the tranquil suburban sanctuary nestled within the vibrant Upper West Side, the Riverside Collection pays homage to its lush surroundings and scenic waterfront vistas. With a nod to the area's natural splendor, the watch captures the essence of leisure and sophistication. The commanding 42mm round stainless-steel case is adorned with a ceramic-colored bezel and a matching dial available in a captivating array of hues: blue, black, green, or brown. These vibrant tones echo the vibrant hues of nature, resonating with the legacy of the cherished landmark itself.

Elegance is found in the details. The oversized numerals and luminous hands and markers evoke an air of effortless cool, while the bidirectional rotating bezel reflects the boundless options that parallel the sprawling urban greenscape. The meticulous craftsmanship extends to the expertly mounted screw-down crown and exhibition case back, culminating in a harmonious fusion of form and function.

Complementing the watch's exceptional design are bracelet options that exemplify sophistication. Choose between a two-toned or solid stainless steel brushed bracelet, both secured with a deployment buckle. Encased within this horological masterpiece lies the heart of Swiss precision - the Selita SW200 movement. Akin to the rhythm of the city, this Swiss automatic movement ensures that time flows silently, swiftly, and seamlessly, much like life's most cherished moments.

Elevate your daily experiences with the Riverside Collection. A symbol of leisure sought and moments seized, it stands as the epitome of uncompromising luxury, designed for those who actively seek leisure or luxuriate in being active. The Riverside Collection isn't just a watch; it's an embodiment of the artistry of timekeeping and a testament to the pursuit of an elevated lifestyle.

The history of Gevril watches is a story that combines an illustrious watchmaking past with an innovative modern revitalization. The company origins date back to the mid-18th century and Jacques Gevril, the gifted Swiss watchmaker who is the founder and inspiration of the eponymous brand.

Today the Gevril name endures thanks to the vision of a Swiss horologist and businessman who lifted the brand to its current heights as an established Swiss watch company.

Jacques Gevril was an up-and-coming watch and clockmaker in 1758 when he accompanied his colleague Pierre Jaquet-Droz on a trip to Madrid. There, the men presented a selection of complex musical automata to King Ferdinand VI. The king was so impressed he bought every piece.

Jaquet-Droz returned home the following year but Gevril remained in Spain to fortify his reputation as a master watchmaker and was appointed Royal Watchmaker by the king. Gevril lived in Spain for many years thereafter, refining his craft and producing watches for the Crown.

Gevril’s traditions were survived by future generations of Gevril watchmakers including Moyse Gevril and Daniel Gevril, who built their reputations on horological innovations and artistic enameling techniques.

Today Gevril pocket watches are highly collectible: one is even located in the Muséum Genève and another is part of the collection of the Wilsdorf family, founders of Rolex.
