Please ship your watch to Gevril for repair along with a completed Watch Repair Form and RA. Once we receive your watch, our watchmakers will examine it and determine what watch repairs need to be made.
Manufacturer Warranty Service
During the warranty period, and upon proof of purchase, your watch will be repaired without charge within two to eight weeks, depending upon the nature of the repair. In order for the warranty to be honored, the watch must have been purchased from an authorized dealer. We cannot provide warranty service for:
- Normal wear and tear, such as scratches on the metallic surface.
- Damage while watch was in the your possession, i.e., not resulting from a manufacturing defect, including but not limited to improper care and improper storage of the watch.
- Damage from tampering with or opening the watch — or other than normal or reasonable use.
- Watches repaired, altered, or whose case has been opened anywhere other than at an authorized service center.
- Theft or loss.
- Damage caused by natural causes beyond our control.
The warranty does not cover leather straps, bracelets, buckles/clasps and crystals. It covers manufacturing defects only, and does not include maintenance like changing batteries, ensuring water resistance, and all other services other than replacement of defective warranted parts.
As part of regular maintenance, in order to ensure water resistance, gaskets should be replaced every 24 months.
Postage, insurance and shipping incurred in sending the watch for service are your responsibility. Watches sent for service that are found in perfect working condition will be subject to a return shipping and handling charge.
In case the watch is not covered under the warranty, or the warranty has expired, we will contact you with an estimate, and you will decide whether to accept that estimate or not. In case of refusal, we will return your watch with a charge for shipping and insurance within the US. Shipping costs for Canada and other countries will be charged accordingly.
Shipping Your Watch for Repair
Please pack your watch securely so that it does not shake and move around in the package. Bubble wrap or peanuts suggested. Insurance is advised. You must include the Watch Repair Form with the Return Authorization you received when emailing us the form. Watches received without the form or RA may be subject to a processing fee of $25. Please do not include your original watch box (or any other special box) when sending your watch for service. The boxes won’t be returned.
