GV2 Amalfi
GV2 Amalfi
Nestled along the sun-kissed Amalfi Coast, where sky meets sea in a dance of shimmering blues and gold, the GV2 Women’s Amalfi emerges as an exquisite tribute to Italian elegance. This luminous timepiece embodies the luminous spirit of coastal evenings, with its slender 34 mm stainless-steel case crowned by a radiant bezel of eight hand-set diamonds—each stone glimmering like sunlight on the Mediterranean.
The watch’s mother-of-pearl dial unfolds like a seashell at dawn, capturing iridescent whispers of dawn’s first light, while slender Roman numerals and finely tapered dauphine hands glide across its surface, echoing the effortless flow of waves along Amalfi’s midnight shore. With its heart powered by a Swiss Ronda 762 movement, every tick is a precise whisper of craftsmanship—dependable, seamless, timeless.
A polished stainless-steel bracelet endows the Amalfi with graceful strength, poised to embrace both boardroom soirées and coastal promenades. And for those who seek to shift between classic sophistication and casual romance, optional 316L Stainless Steel Bracelet offer effortless versatility. Topped with anti-reflective sapphire crystal and water-resistant to 30 meters, this watch is both elegant and enduring—just like the coast it honors.
The GV2 Amalfi transcends timekeeping—it’s a wearable ode to natural beauty, refined femininity, and the unspoken allure of Italy’s most iconic shores. Let every glance transport you to a place where the horizon stretches endlessly and every moment feels effortless, luminous, and utterly yours.

The history of Gevril watches is a story that combines an illustrious watchmaking past with an innovative modern revitalization. The company origins date back to the mid-18th century and Jacques Gevril, the gifted Swiss watchmaker who is the founder and inspiration of the eponymous brand.
Today the Gevril name endures thanks to the vision of a Swiss horologist and businessman who lifted the brand to its current heights as an established Swiss watch company.

Jacques Gevril was an up-and-coming watch and clockmaker in 1758 when he accompanied his colleague Pierre Jaquet-Droz on a trip to Madrid. There, the men presented a selection of complex musical automata to King Ferdinand VI. The king was so impressed he bought every piece.
Jaquet-Droz returned home the following year but Gevril remained in Spain to fortify his reputation as a master watchmaker and was appointed Royal Watchmaker by the king. Gevril lived in Spain for many years thereafter, refining his craft and producing watches for the Crown.

Gevril’s traditions were survived by future generations of Gevril watchmakers including Moyse Gevril and Daniel Gevril, who built their reputations on horological innovations and artistic enameling techniques.
Today Gevril pocket watches are highly collectible: one is even located in the Muséum Genève and another is part of the collection of the Wilsdorf family, founders of Rolex.
